How about a romantic movie night under the moon and stars?
Sure, going to the movies may not be the first thing on your mind when going on a vacation, and with so many things to see on Santorini.
Nevertheless, outdoor cinemas are popular throughout Greece, and Santorini cinemas are no exception.
Films are normally shown in the original language with Greek subtitles.
Open air Santorini cinema
There are two open air Santorini cinemas.
Cinetheater is a large (600 seat capacity) and architecturally beautiful outdoor cinema located in Fira.
You can buy movie snacks and refreshments on site.
Movies usually start at 21.00 and 23.15 each evening, but we advice you to confirm start times.
Cinetheater is open all summer.

The other open air cinema, Cinekamari, has about 500 seats and is attractively located in a cozy garden just before Kamari village.
Here movies usually start at 21.30 each evening.
Cinekamari is open June - September.
Indoor Santorini cinema
As far as we know, Cine Villaggio located in Kamari shopping center is the only indoor Santorini cinema.
It is a fairly modern theatre with air conditioning and all the snacks and drinks services you would expect.
Movies start each evening at 19.30 & 22.30.
This theatre is open all year.
